Natural Cleaning Solution

Vinegar is a natural disinfectant and essential oils have antimicrobial properties, so I avoid harsh chemicals and make my own natural cleaning solution.  If you’d like to do the same, it is quite simple.

Combine a 50-50 mixture of distilled white vinegar and water

Add: 15 drops tea tree oil

You may also add 10-15 drops of your favorite essential oil such as orange, lemon or even peppermint for an additional scent.

Shake it all up in a 12-16 oz. spray bottle for your very own natural cleaning solution.

Note:  Although this will take away from the completely “natural” solution, I will sometimes add a few drops of blue Dawn dish detergent for a bit of “extra clean”.
